There are today up to seven different additive manufacturing technologies and a large number of materials available for FDM printers and other types of printers. Each material has its innate properties and also some final properties after being processed by the printer.
We have compiled the results of the tests that Stefan Hermann has carried out on his YouTube channel CNC Kitchen, if you do not know him, we recommend you to visit the channel. The properties we look at and compare are impact strength, tensile strength, bending stiffness, and temperature resistance. One of the materials is resin used in SLS printers, the rest are FDM filaments.
None of these tests were performed with any officially calibrated test equipment. The values presented will not be comparable to any official test.
Finally, a comparasion of densities:
Does V3 Hull also use PLA+ ?
Yes, PLA+ for the hull, and if possible regular PLA for the internals or at least for servotrays
